Dikou town

Dikou town is located in the southeast of Jian'ou City, 86 kilometers away from the urban area, belonging to the Central Soviet Area and the old revolutionary base area. It borders Fengdu town of Gutian County in the East, Yanghou town of Yanping District in the south, Nanshan Town of Yanping District in the West and Baizhang village of Xiaoqiao town in the north. It is located in the junction of Gutian, Nanping and Jian'ou. Dikou town governs 17 administrative villages, 100 natural villages and 162 villager groups. The territory is rich in natural resources and the ecological and cultural landscape is well protected.

There are beautiful "crab dragon hill" scenic spot, well preserved century old corridor bridge, Xikeng guerrilla war site, Xikeng gingko king and Zhongtian Fokienia hodginsii. In 2015, Dikou town was rated as a "famous scenic tourism town in Fujian Province". The Jian (OU) min (Hou) section of Beijing Taiwan Expressway passes through the territory, and interchanges are set up in market towns. Dikou is 41 km away from Jian'ou and 114 km away from Fuzhou. Historical evolution

Dikou has a glorious revolutionary history. During the war of liberation, Dikou people made great contributions to the liberation of Northern Fujian. In 1934, Huang ligui led the workers' and peasants' Red Army's Minbei independent division to Chongan. Then Zeng Jingbing, Zuo Fengmei, Chen Guifang, Liu Jiesheng, Rao Shoukun and Wang Zhu led the troops to Dikou to launch revolutionary struggle and mobilize the masses to make revolution. Xikeng village, Tiandou natural village, shangmingyang natural village and xiamingyang natural village (later assigned to Nanshan Town, Yanping District) were once the places where the provincial Party committee of Fujian, Zhejiang and Jiangxi often operated, hence the name Dikou old revolutionary base area.

After the founding of new China, Dikou was once designated as the Sixth District of Jian'ou county. Liaoyuan people's commune was established in 1958, changed to Dikou commune in 1961, changed to Dikou Township in 1984, designated as a poverty-stricken Township by the provincial government in 1985, and changed to a town in May 1992 with the approval of the Ministry of civil affairs.

Jixi river runs through the whole territory and flows into Minjiang River. Other tributaries include Xiazhuang River, Huiyuan River, Xikeng River, Xiaxi River, Shanyang River and wubu river. Dikou town has 130 old ginkgo trees with a hundred years old, accounting for 1 / 4 of the 300 trees in Jian'ou city. There are 39 ancient ginkgo trees in Zhengyuan natural village of Xiaxi, with an annual net income of more than 2000 yuan. The ginkgo tree king of Chidan natural village in Xikeng was named the "Ten Tree king of Fujian Province" in 2013. More than 20000 Ginkgo biloba were newly planted. Mineral resources

13 kinds of mineral deposits have been found in Dikou Town, including marble, rare earth, zinc, bismuth, coal, dolomite, diopside, copper, pyrite, talc and phosphorus. Among them, the reserves of dolomite in Xikeng are more than 5 million tons, ranking the first in the province. The talc in Shanyang and Diopside in Xikeng, Zhengwei and Xiazhuang have large reserves and high grade, which are under exploitation.

In 2003, he assisted Nanya in laying 11 km cement pavement from Huangkang to Xiaokang, and Nanshan in laying 12 km cement pavement from dabulin to Nanshan. So far, the two main exit channels of Dikou have been hardened. From 1999 to 2006, the town also opened 600 kilometers of mechanized farming roads in Zhushan, which significantly improved the production conditions of bamboo farmers and greatly improved the benefits of Zhushan. With the completion of Dikou interchange of jian'ou-gutian expressway, Dikou will be integrated into the one and a half hour traffic economic zone of Fuzhou. In 1986, there were five small hydropower stations in the town, including Jianke hydropower station, longbeixi hydropower station, yangmeiping hydropower station, Hongqi hydropower station and Yanxia hydropower station, with a total installed capacity of 4600 kW, and the whole town was interconnected. In 1992, capacity expansion and technical transformation were carried out for the hydropower stations that can be built, and the interconnection with the provincial power grid was realized, which laid a good foundation for the development and utilization of Dikou small hydropower station. In June 1998, Yuyao power station with an installed capacity of 1260 kW and an investment of more than 6 million yuan by Dikou town government was put into operation. In 1999, the shanyangquanxia power station invested by individuals resumed power generation. Subsequently, the main investment and development body of Dikou hydropower station has diversified.

In April 2001, the government of Dikou town and Fujian Taiyu Investment Co., Ltd. jointly funded the establishment of Jian'ou Dikou Xingdi hydropower Co., Ltd., which is controlled by 60% of Taiyu company to develop all hydraulic resources with installed capacity of more than 500 kW in Dikou town. In November of the same year, Qinxi substation with the first phase capacity of 16300 KVA was put into operation. The "bottleneck" of Dikou power transmission has been broken through. Dikou small hydropower development has entered a new stage of development. From 1999 to 2005, 19 new power stations were built in Dikou, with an additional installed capacity of more than 12000 kW and a total installed capacity of 15635 kW.

In 2005, the total installed power capacity of the whole town reached 16620 kW, a new substation with a capacity of 26300 KVA was built, and a 35KV high-voltage loop line from Dikou to Nanshan was set up, which greatly improved the reliability and safety of power supply. Dikou has become a real power town.

Post and telecommunication

In 1989, there were only 53 handgrip telephones in Dikou. In 1994, there were only three program-controlled telephones in the town, one for the telecommunication branch, one for the town government, and one for the timber purchasing station. The telephone line was attached to the broadcasting pole and directly connected from Jian'ou to Nanya. In 1995, Dikou town opened 500 program-controlled telephones for the first time. In that year, more than 400 telephone users were developed. In 1996, the telephone capacity of the whole town was expanded to 1000, in 1998 to 2000, and in 2000 to 5000. In 2005, the town's program-controlled telephone capacity reached 10000, with more than 4910 installed, including 112 public telephones, 46 IC card telephones and 3200 mobile phones
