Jiuxian town is located at the southern foot of Taiyue Mountain, in the middle and southern part of Guxian County, connecting Hongdong in the west, Anze in the East, Fushan in the south, county town in the north, 309 National highway connecting East and West, and Fugu highway crossing South and North.

The town governs 13 administrative villages, 76 villager groups, 135 natural villages, with a total population of 2537 households and 5988 people (2017), a total area of 145.28 square kilometers, and a cultivated land area of 39865 mu.
