In the first year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1403), Panggezhuang belongs to Wanping County of shuntianfu. In March 1945, Zhuoling County, Liangxiang county and Wanping county were established as Sanlian County, which is called Zhuoling Wan County for short. Pangezhuang belongs to the third district of Zhuoling Wan county. From August 1945 to February 1946, ten special districts in central Hebei Province were adjusted. Panggezhuang was divided into four districts, with jurisdiction over nine administrative villages of democracy, victory, people's livelihood, prosperity, unity, happiness, Henan, Hedong and Hexi. In March 1950, it was the residence of the second district government of Daxing County, which was changed from County town to district town. In March 1952, Panggezhuang town was transformed into a township with jurisdiction over dongzhongbao, Xizhongbao, Lijiayao and other villages.
