Shengli Street

Shengli Street, a street under the jurisdiction of Dongying District, Dongying City, Shandong Province, is located in the northeast of Dongying District, bordering Laizhou Bay in the East, Liuhu town and Dongcheng Street in the south, Huanghe Road Street and Wenhui street in the west, Kenli street, Xinglong Street and Yong'an town in Kenli County in the north, with a total area of 316.41 square kilometers.

In July 1984, with wuganqu in the South and liuganqu in the north as the boundary, Shengli town was established from Gaogai commune in Kenli County and Liuhu commune in Guangrao County. In March 2001, Shengli town was transformed into Shengli Street. By the end of 2011, 123 thousand people registered residence in Shengli Street. In June 2020, Shengli Street governs 30 communities and 6 administrative villages.

History of construction

In July 1984, with wuganqu in the South and liuganqu in the north as the boundary, 10 brigades were set up from Gaogai commune in Kenli County and Liuhu commune in Guangrao County to form Shengli town.

In March 1995, with Haihe Road (now Huanghe Road) in the South as the boundary, Shaying and other 11 residents committee separated out and established Dongcheng Street.

In March 2001, Shengli town was transformed into Shengli Street.
