Qilang Township
Qile Township, a county in Akesu, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the eastern part of the county, east of Akesu county and Awati county. It is linked to Bachu County in Kashi and Bachu, and is connected to Wushi County in the north. In 2018, the area was 1040.82 square kilometers and the registered residence population was 5438.
Qi Lang, a Uyghur transliteration of Qi LAN, means soaking. In 1998, Qilang township was established. As of October 2019, nine administrative villages are under the jurisdiction of Qilang rural area.
