Tieganlik town
Tieganlik Town, belonging to Ruoqiang County, Bayinguoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the north of Ruoqiang county. It is connected with Lop Nur town in the East, Ruoqiang town in the south, wutamu Township in the West and Yuli County in the north, with a total area of 23200 square kilometers.
In 1899, a post station (now Langan Village) was set up in the north of tieganlik town. In August 2015, tieganlik township was changed from township to town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of the town was 5613. In 2019, tieganlik town governs one community and seven administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 4 industrial enterprises in tieganlik Town, including 3 Enterprises above Designated Size and 50 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the 25th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty (1899), kaklik was developed in tieganlik township as the former site of the early modern County town, and a post station (now Langan Village) was set up in the north of the town. In 1910, Ruoqiang county was divided into four districts: Central, Eastern, Western and Northern.
In 1944, Ruoqiang County compiled Baojia system, which was called Zhongxin township. It governed tieganlik, yakawsitang and Yingsu.
In 1950, when the new regime was established, it belonged to tieganlik Township and yakawsitang township.
In 1958, tieganlik Township and yakawusitang Township merged into two townships to establish Shengli management area.
In 1960, Shengli commune was established.
In 1978, it was renamed tieganlik commune.
In 1984, tieganlik commune was transformed into tieganlik township.
In August 2015, tieganlik township was changed from township to town.
