Huabeitun township is located in the upstream of Guancen mountain in the southwest of Ningwu County, 43 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to ermaying village of Dongzhai town in the north, shiliqiao village of Shijiazhuang town in the south, Hongyan cliff across Fenhe River in the East, Baima cliff of Huaidao Township, and Zhangjiagou Village of ximafang Township in the West. It has a total area of 168 square kilometers and a total population of 13370. The township government is located in huabeitun village.

Basic introduction
The township was liberated in 1945 and realized agricultural cooperation in 1956. In October 2000, Ninghua township was merged into huabeitun Township People's government, with a total area of 159 square kilometers, 4879 hectares of arable land, 3141 households, 12363 population, 300 non-agricultural population and 54 administrative villages. The total number of rural households is 3596, and the rural population is 13328.
