Aksalai Township
Aksalai Township, belonging to Luntai County, Bayinguoleng Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest of Luntai County. It is connected with Talak Township in the East, Luntai town in the south, qunbak town in the West and Hejing County in the north, with a total area of 45.48 square kilometers.
In 1908, it belonged to xiaodaonan, Tala and hejizhuang. In October 1988, it was renamed aksalai Township from akebulake township. By the end of 2018, Al-aqsa had 5975 registered residence in rural areas. In 2019, aksalai Township governs four administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in katasugat village.
The main food crops in aksalai are wheat and corn, and the main animal husbandry is cattle, sheep and poultry.
History of construction
In 1908, it belonged to xiaodaonan, Tulla and hejizhuang.
In 1950, it belonged to the second district.
In 1958, pioneer commune and Red Star commune were established.
In 1959, it was renamed the old bazaar commune.
In May 1965, it merged with Talak commune to form akbulak commune.
In 1970, it was renamed Weidong commune.
In 1978, the name of akbulak commune was restored.
In 1984, akbulak township was established after the establishment of the township.
In October 1988, Talak township was set up, and the original akbulak township was renamed aksalai township.
