Ruao town

Ruao town is located in the southeast of Xinchang County, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. National highway 104 and shangsan Expressway pass through the town. It is the "South Gate" of Shaoxing City and the first stop for Wenzhou and Taizhou to enter Shaoxing.

In October 2019, Ru'ao town was selected as one of the "Top 1000 towns with comprehensive strength in China in 2019".

History of construction

Ru'ao township was established in 1950, changed to Ru'ao town in 1956, changed to Ru'ao commune in 1958, restored to Ru'ao Township in 1983, changed to Ru'ao town in 1985, and merged into Ru'ao town by Ru'ao Town, Baoguo Township and Shici Township in 1992. In 2006, Changzheng township was merged into ruao town.

Tianmu Longtan
