Guanshi town
Guanshi Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Hengyang County, Hengyang City, Hunan Province, is located in the west of Hengyang County, bordering Jingtou town in the East and northeast, Jilong town of Hengnan County and Hongqiao Town of Qidong County in the South and southwest, maduqiao township of Qidong County in the west, lingguandian town of Shaodong county in the northwest, with an administrative area of 90.74 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the town was 53066.
In October 1949, it belonged to the Fifth District of Hengyang County. In July 1952, it belongs to the fourth district. In May 1956, it belongs to Guanshi township. In September 1958, it was the people's commune of Taiyangsheng. In December 1961, Guanshi commune was established, belonging to Changle district. In May 1995, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Huishui Township and Shuangxi Township were merged into Guanshi township. In January 2011, the township was set up. As of June 2020, Guanshi town has jurisdiction over 2 communities and 22 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total revenue was 9.8756 million yuan, an increase of 27% over the previous year. The general budget revenue was 486200 yuan, an increase of 2.5% over the previous year. From the perspective of main taxes, the business tax is 160000 yuan, the value-added tax is 1196 million yuan, the enterprise income tax is 13 million yuan, and the individual income tax is 700000 yuan. History of construction
In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Changle township.
In the late Qing Dynasty, it belonged to shuikang town.
During the period of the Republic of China, Changle township was restored.
In October 1949, it belonged to the Fifth District of Hengyang County.
In July 1952, it belongs to the fourth district.
In May 1956, it belongs to Guanshi township.
In September 1958, it was the people's commune of Taiyangsheng.
In December 1961, Guanshi commune was established, belonging to Changle district.
In May 1995, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Huishui Township and Shuangxi Township were merged into Guanshi township.
In January 2011, the township was set up.

Dayangjian, the highest point in Guanshi Town, is 617.25 meters above sea level. It is located behind Dingjia and Meifeng villages of Yaojia village committee. The lowest point in the southeast is wangjiabei depression of Xiaotian village committee, with an elevation of 51.3 meters. The lowest point in the southwest is Huling River, and the elevation of Zhuhu lake on the West Bank is 46 meters.

Guanshi town originates from two streams in sanxianling and gugang township of Jingtou Town, which respectively enter from Liujia village in the northwest and yuanfenglin Bay in the northeast. At 200 meters east of Ganghuang village, it flows through guiwan village and into Huling stream. Meifeng stream, which originates from sanxianling, flows into xixiaohe, Xiagang village, Hengyang County through Jiangjia village. The stream, which originates from Luqian, flows to the east of Hengshan village, Hetan town through Lantian, Xiaotian and fengshizhao villages.
