Tu Yu Gou Township, belonging to Shanshan County, Turpan City, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the northwest part of Shanshan county. It is connected with lukqin Town, even Mu Qin town and Da Lang Kan Township, and is connected to the south of the Da Lang Kan township. The West and North are bordered by Jinxiang, two Fort Township and three Fort Township, Turpan. In 2018, the area was 187.44 square kilometers and the registered residence population was 27898.

In 1933, there were three villages in Lukeqin district. In 1944, it was Huiwu township. In 1950, it was the fourth district. In 1958, red star commune was established.
