Anningqu town
Anningqu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of the new urban district of Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the north of the new urban district, adjacent to gumudi town of Midong District in the East, Kashi East Road Street in the south, 60hu Township in the West and qinggedahu Township in the north. The administrative area is 47.95 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, 23057 people had registered residence in Anqu town. As of October 2019, Anningqu town has three communities and eight administrative villages.

History of construction
In 1950, it belonged to the Second District of Dihua county (also known as Northwest District).
From January to April 1950, 11 district offices were set up in Urumqi county as the agencies of the county government, and each district was named in numerical order at the beginning of its establishment.
In 1955, it was changed to the place name used by the masses. The fourth township (Anning canal) is under the jurisdiction of the second district (Northwest District) office.
In September 1956, the fourth township (Anningqu) and the fifth township of the second district (Northwest District) merged to form Anningqu township.
In May 1958, it was assigned to Miquan County; in September of the same year, it was the Anning canal production brigade of Hongqi people's commune in Miquan county.
In January 1960, it was assigned to Urumqi county as the Anningqu production brigade of Anningqu people's commune.
In 1983, Anningqu township was established.
In 1999, the township was set up as a town, with jurisdiction over Anningqu village, xigebi village, Binhu village and beidalu village.
In 2004, xigebi village and Binhu village merged to form Hexi village.
In January 2006, the original 40 households township was transferred to Anningqu town.
On March 6, 2011, Anningqu town was assigned to the new urban area.
