AHEQI Town, subordinate to Aheqi County, Kizilsu Kirgiz Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the west of AHEQI county. It is connected with sepabayi Township in the East, Keping County in the south, sumtashi Township in the West and Kyrgyz Republic in the north, with an administrative area of 1170.99 square kilometers.

History of construction
In 1950, it was under the jurisdiction of one district.
In 1954, it was put under the jurisdiction of the second district.
In 1958, it was established by sumutash commune.
In January 1962, Wuqu commune was established.
In 1969, it was renamed red flag commune.
In January 1978, the original name of Wuqu commune was restored.
In October 1984, she was removed from the town.
