Longfengqiao Street

History of construction

In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was under the jurisdiction of Chaoyang town.

In December 1949, it belonged to Beibei branch of Chongqing military control commission.

In September 1958, the three townships of Jingang, caoshang and Longfeng merged to build Jingang commune.

In April 1962, it was separated from Jingang commune and established as Longfeng commune.

In 1983, Longfeng commune was changed into Longfeng township.

In June 1988, Longfeng Township, caoshang Township and Liaoyuan street were abolished and longfengqiao town was established.

In April 2004, it was changed from longfengqiao town to longfengqiao street.
