Kangyang town
Kang Yang Town, belonging to Jianzha County, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, is located on the North Bank of the Yellow River basin in Jianzha, East and the village of cuzhou, south of Jia Jia Township, West Union, Jianzha, north the Yellow River and Longhua, county, and 32.95 towns, and 11368 registered residence population.
Kangyang town has a history of more than 4500 years of development of animal husbandry and farming, and has long been under the jurisdiction of Guide county. On April 21, 1952, it was under the jurisdiction of Jianzha Working Committee. In June 1953, it was the third district of Jianzha county. Kangyang town was established on September 20, 1989. As of October 2019, Kangyang town has one community and 12 administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 12 industrial enterprises in Kangyang Town, including one above scale and two comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
Historical evolution
It was named after the families of Kang and Yang who moved in from Hezhou, Gansu Province in the late Yuan and early Ming Dynasty.
