Xiejiabao Township, belonging to Zhuolu County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the south of Zhuolu County, bordering Mentougou District of Beijing and Laishui County of Baoding City in the East, bordering Hedong town in the South and West, and facing Wofosi Township across Lingshan in the north. It is 49.7 kilometers away from Zhuolu County People's government, with a total area of 175.86 square kilometers.
In 1958, xiejiabao Township belonged to zhaojiapeng commune; in December 1984, it was changed from xiejiabao commune to xiejiabao township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of Xie Jiabao was 5706. As of June 2020, xiejiabao village has 21 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is stationed in xiejiabao village.

History of construction
In 1958, it belonged to zhaojiapeng commune.
In 1961, xiejiabao commune was established from zhaojiapeng commune.
In December 1984, xiejiabao commune was changed into xiejiabao township.
