Damai Township, belonging to Xiahe County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Xiahe County, with tangga'ang Township in the East, wanggetang town in the southwest, Ganjia Township in the northwest and Labrang town in the north. The area is 183.67 square kilometers. In 2018, 3807 people registered residence.
In 1949, Damai township was set up; in 1968, the commune was changed. In 1983, the township was restored. In June 2020, four administrative villages will be under the jurisdiction of Damai township.
