Laojieji Township
Laojieji Township, belonging to Shangzhi City, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the south of Shangzhi City, in the shallow mountain area at the West foot of zhangguangcai mountain, in the middle reaches of Dani River, adjacent to yianpo town in the northeast, Weihe town and zhenzhushan town in the southeast, Chonghe town of Wuchang City in the west, Mayan Township and WuJimi Township in the northwest. In 2018, the area of Lao Jie Ji township was 482.8 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 17997.

Historical evolution
In 1927, zhuziying was the third district of Zhuhe county.
During the Japanese occupation, it belonged to the third district.
In 1937, it was classified as yiyipo street.
In 1938, laojieji "group tribe" was set up, with jurisdiction over 11a.
In 1939, it was changed to old jieji village.
In 1945, the old street base of Zhuhe county was changed.
In December 1950, it was renamed the 11th district of Shangzhi county.
In September 1952, 15 villages in Xinglong Village, Wuchang County, including Majiadian, dayangqiao, qianyuanbao River, houyuanbao River, Youli and Fuli, were included.
In 1955, it was renamed old street base.
In 1956, the former baolongdian, the latter baolongdian and Xinglong villages were assigned to Shengli District of Wuchang county.
In May 1956, the old jieji township was changed.
In 1958, the township changed into a commune.
In 1984, the commune was transformed into a township.

Laojieji township is located in the hilly area at the West foot of zhangguangcai mountain, with high terrain in the southeast and low terrain in the northwest. The terrain is mainly composed of low mountains and valley plains. The highest point in yangmudingzi mountain is 625.2 meters above sea level.
