Jiuyuan town

Jiuyuan town is located in the west of Fugou County of Zhoukou City, bordering Yanling County of Xuchang city. It is more than 40 kilometers away from national highway 107, Beijing Guangzhou railway and Beijing Zhuhai Expressway in the west, 80 kilometers away from Zhengzhou International Airport in the north, and national highway 311 and Xudan local railway pass through the territory. Wuyan mountain, a famous Taoist Holy Land in Eastern Henan, is the first stop for Laozi, a thinker and philosopher in the spring and Autumn period, to preach to the West. It is also the earliest birthplace of Tao Te Ching, which has the value of tourism development. The town governs 40 administrative villages, 65 natural villages, 36105 people (in 2017), 65000 mu of arable land, with a total area of 82.46 square kilometers (in 2017).

Agriculture

Jiuyuan town is located in the eastern plain of Henan Province, with prominent agricultural characteristics, mainly planting and breeding. In terms of breeding industry, Lu GuoXuan's ten thousand head breeding pig farm, Zhang Hongbing's dairy farm and Xie Junwei's chicken farm rank first in the city. There are 4 large-scale beef cattle farms with an annual output of more than 100, 20 large-scale pig farms with an annual output of more than 1000, 32 large-scale broiler farms with an annual output of 5000, 5 large-scale duck farms and 22 laying hens farms. The sheep industry is mainly free range breeding, and the variety is mainly Huai Goat. In terms of planting industry, wheat, corn and soybean are the main agricultural products, and vegetables are the main agricultural products. There are 5000 mu of three cherry peppers and 2000 mu of greenhouse vegetables. 1. Agricultural products processing industry: Henan Baole Dairy Co., Ltd. is a provincial leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization. The company has 220 Mu dairy farming area, 30 mu processing area, 650 cows in stock, 2 aseptic filling production lines with a daily output of 100 tons of dairy products, and advanced equipment and technology in China. The company produces more than 20 kinds of yubaole brand fresh milk, pure milk, yoghurt and milk drinks, which are exported to Henan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shaanxi, Beijing, Shanghai and other provinces and cities. In 2003, it was absorbed by China Dairy Association as a member unit. In 2006, it passed the certification of pollution-free products by Provincial Animal Husbandry Bureau. In 2007, it passed the ISO 90001:2000 standardization certification.
