Chagang Township
Chagang Township, belonging to Zhouqu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the south central part of Zhouqu County, upstream of Gongba River, adjacent to Gongba Township in the East, Boyu Township in the south, Wuping Township in the west, and baling Township in the north. The area is 195.23 square kilometers. In 2018, 3486 people registered residence.
In 1949, the flag was changed to township. In 1958, he returned to Zhouqu. In 1959, it was under the jurisdiction of Wuping commune. In 1962, chagang commune was established. It was changed to chagang Township in 1984. In June 2020, chagang rural area has jurisdiction over 8 administrative villages.
