Dongyangguan town
Dongyangguan town is located 10 kilometers to the east of the county, adjacent to Shexian County in Hebei Province in the East, known as "the east gate of Shanxi". 309 double track highway, feldspar railway and Changhan Expressway run through the whole territory, and the road traffic is developed and convenient. The total area of the town is 140.4 square kilometers, with 30 administrative villages and 44 natural villages.
Evolution of organizational system
Dongyangguan, formerly known as wueryu, was the capital of lihou state in Shang Dynasty. The spring and Autumn period belongs to the state of Jin, known as hukou pass. Jin Dynasty is under the jurisdiction of the past, the terrain is dangerous, the ancient and modern transportation fortress, ancient Dongyang, so since the Song Dynasty known as Dongyang pass. In Ming and Qing Dynasties, Licheng county was divided into Pingxian, Zhangyuan, longfu and Yuquan. Today, Dongyangguan town belongs to Pingxian township. During the period of the Republic of China, district and village system was implemented. In 1935, the county was divided into three districts, the town is divided into one and two districts. In 1940, the county was divided into eight districts, the town is Changning District. At the beginning of the founding of the people's Republic of China, the system of district and village was still practiced. In June 1953, the county was divided into six districts and 76 townships. The town belongs to the third district (Dongyangguan District), with 11 townships under its jurisdiction. In March 1956, the whole county was merged into 32 townships, which were divided into Chengguan, Dongyangguan, Shangyao, nanweiquan and Xijing. Dongyangguan base has jurisdiction over 6 townships. In August 1958, 10 people's communes were set up in the county, and the town is Dongyangguan Sino Soviet people's commune. In August 1961, tinghepu commune and Yanjing commune were established, and their villages were separated from Dongyangguan commune. In December 1962, Longwangmiao commune was separated from Dongyangguan commune. In 1984, Dongyangguan commune and Longwangmiao commune were renamed Dongyangguan town and Longwangmiao Township respectively. In January 2001, the former Dongyangguan town and Longwangmiao Township were abolished and merged into a new Dongyangguan Town, which has 30 villagers' committees under its jurisdiction, namely: Dongyangguan, huolaneway, laojinyi, xiangluyi, donghuangxu, Xichangyuan, dongchangyuan, Shanye, Changning, Xincun, Shangwan, Xiawan, Xiaokou, Zaozhen, zaopan, Sanjie, Qianyi, Lingxi, Houyi, Dongzhuang, Xizhuang, sujiayi, Longwangmiao Dongshipu, qiushuyuan, xiamajiayu, xiamajiayu, langpo, gaoshihe and qianjialing.

Highway economic zone
One is the highway economic zone along the 309 National Highway represented by Dongyangguan village and huolandao village. The terrain of the town is generally high in the middle and low in the East and West, so the climate temperature difference is large.
