Dongsheng Manchu Mongolian township is located in the southwest of Kangping County, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. It borders fangjiatun town in the East, xiguantun Mongolian Manchu Township and funiushi Township in Faku County in the south, Liushutun Mongolian Manchu Township in the west, Zhangqiang town and erniusuokou town in the north, with an administrative area of 122.7 square kilometers.
In the early Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Bowang banner of Horqin tribe, belonging to Horqin Left wing rear banner; in 1987, it was renamed Dongsheng Manchu Mongolian township. By the end of 2018, the population of Dongsheng Manchu Mongolian Township registered residence was 18023. As of June 2020, Dongsheng Manchu and Mongolian township has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in Dongsheng Village.
In 2011, the financial revenue of Dongsheng Manchu and Mongolian township was 22 million yuan. From the perspective of major taxes, business tax is 2.828 million yuan, value-added tax is 180 thousand yuan, and enterprise income tax is 490 thousand yuan. In 2018, there were 3 industrial enterprises in Dongsheng Manchu and Mongolian Township, and 62 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction

Malian River flows from Dongsheng Village to Shengguan village, with a total length of 4 km; Limin river flows from Wujia village to baoshantun village and Dafangshen village, with a total length of 10.5 km; nanxiaoling river flows from nanxiaoling village to taolian village and Leijia village, with a total length of 6 km.

The main natural disasters in Dongsheng Manchu and Mongolian township are drought, wind, low temperature, frost, hail and so on. From 2001 to 2003, there was a continuous drought and lack of water. The farmland in 58 villages was seriously damaged, and some people and livestock had difficulty in drinking water.
