Lianlu Town, belonging to Kangle County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the southernmost part of Kangle County, bordering Zhuoni County of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the East, Weiyuan County and Lintao County of Dingxi City in the northeast across the river, Yeliguan town of Lintan County of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the south, Bajiao township of Lintan County of Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the West and Jinggu town in the north. The area is 154.61 square kilometers. In 2018, 11606 people registered residence.

In 1950, it belonged to Jinggu district. In April 1958, Lianlu township was established and transformed into Lianlu commune. On November 21 of the same year, Kangle county was abolished and merged into Hezheng county. Lianlu was still a commune. On December 15, 1961, the State Council approved the restoration of Kangle county. On April 25, 1983, the commune was changed into the Township People's government. In 2002, the township was removed to build a town. In October 2019, Lianlu town governs 12 administrative villages.

In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise in Lianlu Town, with two comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
