Zheqiao town

Zheqiao Town, belonging to Linxia city, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Linxia city, connecting Dongyuan township of Dongxiang Autonomous County in the East, Nanlong town in the south, Chengjiao town and Chengbei street in the west, and anjiapo township of Linxia County in the north. The area is 13.07 square kilometers. In 2018, 19120 people registered residence.

In 1955, after withdrawing the district and merging the township, it was under the jurisdiction of Dongchuan township. In 1958, Zheqiao commune was established. In 1983, when the county and city were set up separately, it was called Zheqiao township government. In 2002, the township was changed from township to town. In October 2019, Zheqiao town governs 2 communities and 6 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 35 industrial enterprises in Zheqiao Town, and 23 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Zheqiao town is located in the river area between Daxia River and Beiyuan mountain. The terrain is high in the West and low in the East, with an average altitude of 1917 meters. The highest point is at gengjiashe, hougucheng village, with an altitude of 1989 meters; the lowest point is at fengjiatai, Qimou village, with an altitude of 1935 meters.
