The street of Xuan coal mining area is located in the Xishan area in the northwest of Yuanping City, Shanxi Province, at the foot of Yunzhong mountain. It is 39 kilometers away from Yuanping City and 22 kilometers away from Ningwu county. It is adjacent to Xuangang town in the East, Ningwu county and Shuozhou City in the West, and Changlianggou town in the south. There are rugged mountains in the area, rich in coal, aluminum and other mineral resources. The transportation in the area is convenient. The street of Xuanshan coal mining area was established in January 2008. It was officially established on March 2, 2009. It covers an area of 28 square kilometers, with a total population of 20552 households and 44212 people, including 11456 households and 39962 permanent residents. There are Datong Coal Mine Group Company, Xuangang coal and Electricity Co., Ltd. and other enterprises, posts and telecommunications office, insurance company, tax office, industrial and commercial office, police station and other resident units.
