Xigaoshan town
Xigaoshan Town, subordinate to Xihe County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the south of Xihe county. It is adjacent to Chengxian County, Wudu district and Kangxian County in the southeast, Daqiao town in the West and Shixia town in the north. It is 42 kilometers away from Xihe County, with a total area of 78.96 square kilometers.
After October 1949, xigaoshan town was divided into Shangzhai Township and Chengji Township, belonging to Zhifang District of Chengxian County; in 2018, xigaoshan township was changed into xigaoshan town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the west mountain town was 18045. As of June 2020, xigaoshan town has jurisdiction over 22 administrative villages, and the town people's government is located in Fengping village.
Food crops in xigaoshan town are mainly wheat, corn and potato; animal husbandry is mainly raising pigs, cattle, sheep and poultry. In 2018, there were two industrial enterprises in xigaoshan town.
History of construction
After October 1949, Shangzhai Township and Chengji Township were established, belonging to Zhifang District of Chengxian county.
In April 1953, it was divided into Chengji, Baji, Gaomiao, Tianchi, Shangzhai and Heping townships, which were assigned to Shixia district.
In May 1955, it was merged into Chengji, Tianchi and Shangzhai townships.
In August 1958, Heping and Chengji commune were established.
In April 1968, xigaoshan commune was established.
In December 1983, xigaoshan commune was changed into xigaoshan township.
In 2018, xigaoshan township was changed from township to town.

In 2011, xigaoshan town governed 22 administrative villages, namely Fengping, Keshan, Heshan, Tianchi, Xinzhuang, Heping, Qinshan, Malian, Shangzhai, Xiazhai, Zhuhe, Liuhe, Lanshan, Baji, Yinzhuang, Zhangwan, duping, Fangji, Chengji, Liwan, Wushan and Dushan.
As of June 2020, xigaoshan town has 22 administrative villages: Chengji village, Heshan village, Keshan village, Tianchi village, Xinzhuang village, Fengping village, Heping Village, Qinshan village, Malian village, Shangzhai village, Xiazhai village, Zhuhe village, Liuhe village, Lanshan village, Baji Village, Yinzhuang village, Zhangwan village, duping village, Fangji village, Liwan village, Wushan village and Dushan village. The town people's government is stationed in Fengping village.
