Yuhuang Township
Yuhuang Township, belonging to Wudu District, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Wudu District, adjacent to Huangping Township in the East, Pipa town in the southeast, Sanhe Town in the South and West, and Guohe Township in the north. It is 31.4km away from Wudu City, with a total area of 77.37km2.
Before December 1949, Yuhuang Township belonged to Fujin township; in October 1983, Yuhuang commune was changed into Yuhuang township. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Yu Huang township was 8934. As of June 2020, yuhuangxiang has jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in yuhuangping village.
The main food crops in Yuhuang township are wheat, corn and potato; the main economic crops are Zanthoxylum bungeanum; the animal husbandry is mainly raising pigs, sheep, cattle and poultry.
History of construction
Before December 1949, it belonged to Fujin township.
In July 1950, Xiaoshi, Luojia and Yuhuang townships were set up.
In October 1958, the Yuhuang commune was established and merged into Sanhe commune in November of the same year.
In June 1961, the Yuhuang commune was rebuilt in Xiaoshi, Luojia and Yuhuang administrative areas.
In October 1966, Yuhuang commune was renamed Hongxing commune.
In December 1980, it was restored to the Yuhuang commune.
In October 1983, Yuhuang commune was transformed into Yuhuang township.
