Maquan Township, belonging to Zhangxian County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Zhangxian County, adjacent to Wudang Township in the East, caotan Township in the south, Sizu Township in the West and Yanjing Township in the north, with an administrative area of 137.58 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, there were 10838 registered residence population in Ma Quan township. As of June 2020, 10 villages were under the jurisdiction of Ma Quan, and the township government was located in the village of Luo Jia Gou.

History of construction
In 1941, it belonged to Chaoyang township.
In September 1949, Maquan township was established.
In April 1958, it was the Maquan management area of Yanjing commune.
In January 1962, Maquan commune was established.
