Sangba Township
Sangba Township, belonging to Diebu County, Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the north east of Diebu County, adjacent to Lazikou Township in the East, Luoda Township in the southeast, wangzang Township in the south, Niao Township in the west, Zhuoni county and Min County in Dingxi City in the north. The area is 329.48 square kilometers. In 2018, 3421 people registered residence.
In 1956, it was under the jurisdiction of xiadi District of Zhuoni county. In October 1957, Sangba township was built. In 1959, along with xiadie commune, it was assigned to longdie county. In 1960, Sangba commune was established after xiadi commune was divided into small communes. In 1962, Sangba township was restored after it was transferred to Diebu county. In June 2020, Sangba country governs four administrative villages.
The total output value of agriculture and animal husbandry in Sangba Township increased from 306000 yuan in 1981 to 12.95 million yuan in 2011, an increase of 7.3% over 2010; the added value of agriculture was 4.8 million yuan, accounting for 37.1% of the total GDP of the township; in 2011, the total output value of animal husbandry was 6.8 million yuan, accounting for 52.5% of the total agricultural output value, and the average net income of farmers and herdsmen was 3280 yuan.

The river course in Sangba Township belongs to Bailong River Basin. Its tributary, sangbaqu (sangbalongwa), flows through Wuhu, HeLa and saidangsi, with a total length of 50 kilometers, a drainage area of 265 square kilometers, an annual runoff of 110 million cubic meters and an average annual flow of 2.9 cubic meters per second.

The total output value of agriculture and animal husbandry increased from 306000 yuan in 1981 to 12.95 million yuan in 2011, an increase of 7.3% over the previous year; the added value of agriculture was 4.8 million yuan, accounting for 37.1% of the GDP of the township. The main food crops are wheat, highland barley and beans. 586 tons of grain are produced. Among them, 218 tons of wheat, 107 tons of highland barley, 137 tons of beans and 110 tons of potatoes. The main economic crops are rape, Angelica sinensis, Codonopsis pilosula and other Tibetan traditional Chinese medicine, with rape planting area of 400 mu and output of 27.96 tons, and Tibetan traditional Chinese medicine of 650 Mu and output of 148.7 tons. Animal husbandry is mainly based on raising cattle, sheep, pigs and poultry, with 3000 pigs and 2000 at the end of the year; 5000 cattle and 4000 at the end of the year; 2000 sheep and 1000 poultry, with 220.3 tons of meat, including 95.7 tons of pork, 101.3 tons of beef, 23.3 tons of mutton, 4.9 tons of eggs and 267 tons of fresh milk.
