Balipu town
Balipu Town, subordinate to Lintao County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, is located in the middle of Lintao county. It is adjacent to Longmen and Xiakou towns in the East, Taoyang town in the south, Guanghe County of Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture across the Taohe River in the west, and Xintian town in the north, with an administrative area of 122.16 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, eight Li had 36455 registered residence population. As of June 2020, eight Li Town had jurisdiction over 18 administrative villages; the town government was stationed in the village.

History of construction
The first year of the Republic of China (1912), for Xinmin Township.
In September 1949, Xinmin district was promoted.
In May 1950, it was incorporated into Chengguan District.
In August 1961, renlipu commune was established.
In October 1968, it was renamed Dongfanghong commune.
In December 1979, it was renamed Balipu commune.
In May 1983, it was changed to Balipu township.
In December 1993, the township was removed to build a town.
