Heqiao Township

Heqiao Township, belonging to Qingyuan District of Baoding City, is located 11.8 kilometers to the east of Qingyuan district. It borders Luzhuang Township, Anxin County, xiong'an New District in the East, Jinzhuang Township, Gaoyang County, Dazhuang town in the south, Shiqiao Township in the west, Suncun Township and Wangting town in the north. The largest distance is 8.5 km, the largest 9.7 km from north and south, the total area is 39.38 square kilometers, and the total registered residence population is 30461 (2018).

Heqiao Township got its name because the township government was located in Heqiao village. In May 1984, the village was rebuilt. In January 1996, gengqiao township was incorporated. As of October 2019, HeQiao township has jurisdiction over 18 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is stationed in Heqiao village. The provincial highway s331, Baoding Cangzhou highway, runs obliquely through the south, and Jinbao Southern Highway passes through.
