Qinqi Township, belonging to Weiyuan County, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Weiyuan County, with Daan Township in the East, Beizhai town in the southeast, Xinzhai town in the southwest and northwest, Lintao county and Anding District in the north and northeast, with an administrative area of 117.78 square kilometers.

History of construction
Before September 1949, it belonged to Weibei town.
In October 1949, it belonged to the Fifth District.
When Weiyuan County was abolished in December 1958, it was incorporated into Beizhai commune.
After the restoration of Weiyuan County in December 1962, Qinqi commune was established.
In July 1983, it was changed to Qinqi township.
