Chankou town
Chankou Town, subordinate to Anding District, Dingxi City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Anding District. It is connected with gejiacha town in the East, Fengxiang town in the south, gancaodian Township in Yuzhong County in the West and lujiagou town in the north, with an administrative area of 311.52 square kilometers.
By the end of 2018, the town of Kou Town had 32778 registered residence population. As of June 2020, 29 towns were under the jurisdiction of the town.

History of construction
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912), chankou fort was set up and later changed to Bao, belonging to Pingxi township; in August 1949, it was chankou township.
In September 1951, chankou district (the third district) was set up to govern seven townships.
In October 1958, chankou commune was established.
In July 1983, the township was changed.
In October 2000, the township was set up.
In November 2004, Jingquan town was merged into chankou town.
