Shangying Township
Shangying Township, belonging to Qianxi County, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, is located in the northeast of Qianxi County, adjacent to Jinchangyu town of Qianxi County in the East and south, yuhuzhai township of Qianxi County in the south, luanyang town of Qianxi County in the west, and Kuancheng Manchu Autonomous County of Chengde City in the North, with an administrative area of 86 square kilometers.
Before the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), it belonged to Qian'an County; in March 1984, it was changed to Shangying township; in January 1996, the township division was adjusted and wafangzhuang township was merged. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in the upper township was 13426. As of June 2020, Shangying township has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located at No. 1 Xinxing street, Chengzi Village, Dabao.
In 2011, the total revenue of Shangying township was 73 million yuan, an increase of 45.4% over the previous year. The per capita fiscal revenue was 6138 yuan, an increase of 48% over the previous year. The per capita net income of farmers is 8853 yuan. History of construction
Before the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), it belonged to Qian'an county.
In 1947, Qianxi county was the third district of Qianxi County.
In 1953, Shangying township was established.
In 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Shangying township was retained and the area was expanded.
In October 1958, it belonged to Shangying brigade of Hongqi (Shangying) people's commune; in December of the same year, it was incorporated into Qian'an county and renamed Shangying management area.
In June 1961, after Qianxi county was restored, it returned to Qianxi County and built Shangying people's commune.
In March 1984, it was changed to Shangying township.
In January 1996, the township division was adjusted and wafangzhuang township was incorporated.
