PENGYUAN town
PENGYUAN Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Xifeng District, Qingyang City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Xifeng District, connecting xiongjiamiao of Qingcheng County in the East, Xifeng City in the south, Zhenyuan County across Puhe River in the West and Qingcheng County in the north. The administrative area is 176.6 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Peng Yuan town was 41122.
In 1949, PENGYUAN administrative region was established, belonging to Xifeng City. In 1951, it belonged to Qingyang County. In 1958, PENGYUAN township was established and PENGYUAN commune was changed in the same year. In 1983, PENGYUAN township was changed. In 1985, it was assigned to Xifeng City. In August 2002, it belongs to Xifeng district. In April 2014, PENGYUAN township was withdrawn to build a town. As of October 2019, PENGYUAN town has 15 administrative villages.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of PENGYUAN town was 7.917 million yuan, an increase of 15% over the previous year. The local fiscal revenue was 1.371 million yuan, an increase of 21.6% over the previous year. History of construction
During the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Qingyang County, Pingliang Prefecture.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Zhenyuan County of Jingzhou.
The first year of the Republic of China (1912), belongs to Qingyang County.
In 1949, PENGYUAN administrative region was established, belonging to Xifeng City.
In 1951, it belonged to Qingyang County.
In 1958, PENGYUAN township was established and PENGYUAN commune was changed in the same year.
In 1983, PENGYUAN township was changed.
In 1985, it was assigned to Xifeng City.
In August 2002, it belongs to Xifeng district.
In April 2014, PENGYUAN township was withdrawn to build a town.

As of October 2019, PENGYUAN town has 15 administrative villages: Lijiasi village, Xiazhuang village, liujialing village, PENGYUAN village, Yanqiao village, Shanghe village, Luqu village, caotan village, Yimen village, Yangao village, Zhouzhai village, shaojiasi village, guzui village, wulangpu village and zhaogouwan village. The people's government is stationed in Lijiasi village, PENGYUAN township.
