Hunan Township
Hunan Township, subordinate to Linchuan District, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the east of Fuzhou City. It borders huwan Town, Jinxi County in the East, Songhu Township and Zhongling street across Fuhe River in the southeast, Wenchang street across Fuhe River in the southwest, Luohu town in the northwest and Qiligang Township in the north. With an area of 77 square kilometers, it has 1 community and 19 administrative villages. In late 2018, the population of registered residence in Hunan township was 48 thousand and 200.
By the end of 2018, there were 62 industrial enterprises and 20 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Hunan township.
History of construction
In May 1949, the territory was under the jurisdiction of the autonomous region (in Luohu); in March 1957, there were Hunan Township, Liufang Township, Datang Township, Jiaxi Township and Shankou Township in the territory; in October 1958, Hunan Township, Liufang Township, Datang Township, Jiaxi Township and Shankou Township merged to form Hunan commune; in June 1984, Hunan commune was abolished to form Hunan township.

Hunan township is located in the east of Fuzhou City, bordering huwan town of Jinxi County in the East, Songhu Township and Zhongling street across Fuhe River in the southeast, Wenchang street across Fuhe River in the southwest, Luohu town in the northwest and Qiligang Township in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 11.16 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 7.5 kilometers, with a total area of 77 square kilometers.

Hunan township is located in the east of Fuzhou City, high in the East and low in the West. Linggu peak, the highest peak in the territory, is located in the East with an altitude of 320.6 meters; miaodong Baishui sluice, the lowest point, is located in the northwest.

It's rainy and low temperature in spring, hot and hot in midsummer, sunny in autumn and easy to dry in winter. Fuhe River is the main river course in Hunan township. From xiamashan to baishuizha, it flows through huangdeng village, Liufang village, Hutian village, Zhuxi village, Dianxia village, Yaohu village, Kongqiao village, Shahu village, miaodong village and Chejia village, with a length of 18.5km and a drainage area of 41.2km.

Linggu peak is located in the east of Hunan Township, with guniushi in the East, goujiuquan in the south, shimenguan, tuixin stone and waterfall spring in the west, Wenyin peak in the north, and two wells in the north and South in the half of the mountain. The water is clear and inexhaustible. Beside the well, there are Yunting and qizhuishi, and Linghe is often gathered. The second peak in the southwest is the remains of Xie Lingyun ink wash pool.
Famous people
Jiechongxi, a native of jiejiafang, Hunan Township, Linchuan in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, was named haoan. Chongzhen ten years (1637) Jinshi, Funing (now Fujian Xiapu) Zhizhou. In May of the first year of Hongguang (1645), the Qing army captured Nanjing; in June, the Qing army occupied Jiangxi, and jiechongxi, AI Nanying, Fu Dingquan, Zeng hengying and others recruited local people to organize the anti Qing troops. In the fifth year of Yongli (1651), jiechongxi marched to Shaowu, and was surrounded by the Qing army in baizhangshi, Chongan. Jiechongxi killed the enemy bravely, got an arrow in the neck, killed dozens of enemies, and was captured. On the third day of November in 1651, Jie Chongxi was killed at the entrance of Jianning South Street.
Zhou Fu (1901-1943), born in Zhoujia village, Shahu Township, Hunan Province, was a general of the national revolutionary army. In 1924, he was admitted to the third phase of Huangpu Military Academy and participated in the eastern expedition. After the July 7th incident, he served as the general director of the Political Department of the first war zone. In March 1939, he was transferred to the post of lieutenant general of the Political Department of the Sulu war zone, and was also the director of the Kuomintang and special party headquarters
