Yan'an Township
Along Anxiang, it belongs to Wushan County, Tianshui, Gansu Province, located in the high cold mountainous area of the northern foot of Qinling Mountains, the southern fringe of Wushan County, the East is connected to Yang River town, the southeast is linked to the city and county of Lixian County in Longnan, the south is adjacent to the Minxian Ma Wu township of Dingxi City, the west is adjacent to the town of Tan Ge, and the north connects with Longtai Town, the area is 122.2 square kilometers, and in 2018, the registered residence population was 16822.
In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it belonged to yongnanli. After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it was under the jurisdiction of Simen Town. In August 1949, after the liberation of Wushan, it was under the jurisdiction of Tange district and set up Qingshan township. In January 1962, it was under the jurisdiction of Simen district. In August 1965, the district was withdrawn and the commune was established. In December 1983, it was changed to Yan'an township. As of June 2020, Yanan rural area has jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages.

The rivers along Anxiang belong to the Weihe River Basin, and the main river Mawu River belongs to the secondary tributary of Weihe River. Mawu river flows into Yanghe Township from the south of Nanchuan village to the north of Gaojiu village, with a length of 12.5 km.

The main natural disasters in Yan'an township are hail, drought, frost and so on. Hail mainly occurs from June to August every year. The most serious one occurred at 6:30 p.m. on June 24, 1998. The extremely heavy hail lasted for about 30 minutes, involving five villages in Fengshan, Qiaozi, Baishan, Guoshan and Gaojiu. All the mountains and rivers were destroyed and no crops were harvested. Drought is mainly spring drought and summer drought, with an average of once every three years.
