Simen Town
The four Town, belonging to Wushan County, Tianshui, Gansu, is located in the south of Wushan County, adjacent to Wenquan Town, and linking with Yang River town in the East. It borders on the town along the Yang River, southwest and Longtai Town, northwest and Chengguan Town, North and Luo Men town, and the area is 131.76 square kilometers. In 2018, the registered residence population was 30575.
In Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Renyili, Ningyuan county. In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Wenquan Shangli in Ningyuan county. After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Simen Town was set up. In 1949, it was called Simen Town, Simen district. In December 1983, it was changed into Simen township. In November 2001, the township was withdrawn to build Simen Town. As of June 2020, Simen Town has 5 communities and 20 administrative villages.
In 2018, there were eight industrial enterprises in Simen Town, including one above scale and three comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
