Wuhe Town, subordinate to Jingyuan County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, is located in the northeast of Jingyuan County, adjacent to Jing'an Township in the East, Huangjiahe mountain in the south, Gonghe town in Pingchuan District, Dongsheng township in the west, and Xiangshan Township in Shapotou District, Zhongwei City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in the north, with a total administrative area of 332.94 square kilometers.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Shaanxi Dao; in 1958, it established Wuhe commune; in 1983, it changed to Wuhe township. In August 2016, Wuhe township was built from township. By the end of 2018, the number of five registered residence households was 32993. In June 2020, Wuhe town has 14 administrative villages.
In 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Wuhe town was 4500 yuan. In 2018, there were 12 industrial enterprises in Wuhe Town, including 2 above scale and 35 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Shaanxi road.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to dalachi Township Office.
After 1949, it was subordinate to jiazhaike district office.
In 1958, Wuhe commune was established.
In 1963, it was divided into small communes under the jurisdiction of jiazhaike district office.
In 1968, Wuhe commune was restored.
In 1983, it was changed to Wuhe township.
In August 2016, Wuhe township was built from township.
