Jinya town

Jinya Town, belonging to Yuzhong County, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, is located in the west of Yuzhong County, adjacent to Xiaguanying town in the East, Dingyuan town and Lianda Township in the south, Gaolan County in the west, and haxian Township and Gongjing Township in the north. The area is 260 square kilometers. In 2018, 25948 people registered residence.

In May 1961, it was changed into Jinya commune. In May 1983, it was changed into Jinya township. In December 1998, it was changed to Jinya town. In June 2020, Jinya town governs 17 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 64 industrial enterprises in Jinya Town, including 5 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 2 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In 1912, Jinya town was established.

In 1949, it was promoted to Jinya district.

In April 1958, the district was withdrawn and reduced to Jinya township.

In May 1961, it was changed into Jinya commune.

In May 1983, it was changed to Jinya township.

In December 1998, it was changed to Jinya town.

By the end of 2011, Jinya town had 17 villagers' committees: jinjiaya, Dou Jiaxian, silonggou, bingjiawan, Yongfeng, Gucheng, liangjiawan, qijiaping, lujiaya, Zhangjiawan, Dou Jiaying, Daer, wazixian, dalaochi, Huangjiazhuang, Guojiazhuang and huojiadian.

In June 2020, Jinya town has 17 administrative villages: Jinya village, Yongfeng Village, Gucheng village, liangjiawan village, qijiaping village, lujiaya village, Zhangjiawan village, doujiaying village, silonggou village, bingjiawan village, doujiaxian village, dalaochi village, Daer village, wazixian village, huojiadian village, Guojiazhuang village and Huangjiazhuang village. The town people's government is stationed in Jinya village.
