Lanwei Township, belonging to Daxin County, Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the southeast of Daxin County. It borders zuozhou town and Xinhe Town in Jiangzhou District in the southeast, Leiping town in the southwest, en town in the West and Taocheng town in the north. In 1968, Lanwei district was transformed into Lanwei commune. In July 1984, Lanwei commune was transformed into Lanwei township.
