Shuifu town

Shuifu Town, belonging to Gaolan County, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, is located in the southwest of Gaolan County, adjacent to Shidong town in the East, Zhonghe town in the south, Jiuhe town and Zhongchuan town in Yongdeng County in the west, and Xicha town in the north. The area is 256 square kilometers. In 2018, 16505 people registered residence.

In October 1958, gaishuifu commune was established. In 1962, it was divided into Shuifu commune and Changchuan commune. In June 1965, Changchuan commune was merged into Shuifu commune. In June 1983, it was changed to Shuifu township. In 2014, the township was set up. In June 2020, seven administrative villages will be under the jurisdiction of Shuifu town.

In 2018, Shuifu town has 12 industrial enterprises, 2 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size, and 8 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Shuifu River in Northwest Township of Gaolan county.

In 1949, it belonged to Baoding district of Gaolan county.

In 1950, it belonged to 2 townships of Shuifu and Shagang in Baoding district of Gaolan county and 2 townships of Laochi and Changchuan in Shidong district.

In 1956, it was Shuifu Township in Yachuan district.

In October 1958, gaishuifu commune was established.

In 1962, it was divided into Shuifu commune and Changchuan commune.

In June 1965, Changchuan commune was merged into Shuifu commune.

In June 1983, it was changed to Shuifu township.

In 2014, the township was set up.
