Kongjiaya street, belonging to Anning District, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, is adjacent to Peili street in the East, the Yellow River in the south, Yintan road street in the West and West Road Street in the north. In the Qing Dynasty, it was named chuanmingshanli in Gaolan county. The first year of the Republic of China (1912), is Gaolan county. In 1944, it was the seventh and eighth protection of Yuanbao Town, Xiping Town, the Sixth District of Lanzhou city. After 1949, it was changed into the seventh and eighth villages. In 1953, it was the seventh district of Lanzhou city. In 1954, kongjiaya Red Star society was established. In 1955, the first township was changed. In 1957, it was renamed kongjiaya township. In 1958, it was the second brigade of Hongqi commune, with 24 production teams under its jurisdiction. In April 1959, all communes in Anning District were merged into Anning commune, and kongjiaya was the second production brigade, which was later renamed kongjiaya production brigade. In April 1983, it was changed to kongjiaya village. In November 1984, it was promoted to kongjiaya township. In 2004, it was changed to kongjiaya street. In June 2020, kongjiaya Street governs six communities.
