Yumen Town, subordinate to Yumen City, Jiuquan City, Gansu Province, is located in the southwest of Yumen City, with gaojiatan in the East, Hongliugou town in the south, chaiba temple in the West and xiaxihao Township in the north. The administrative area is 936.37 square kilometers.

History of construction
In the Western Han Dynasty, it was Qianqi county.
In the Tang Dynasty, Yumen town was established.
In 1718, there were 530 families in dalitu'an. In the same year, there were jingni guards (East dalitu, named for the presence of jinni general funing'an) and jingni tongzhi (Hall) to govern today's Yumen town. In 1725, jingni Tongzhi was dismissed, and Liugou Tongzhi was changed to jingni Tongzhi, who moved to jingni and led Chijin and jingni 2 guards Four years (1759), cut Chijin, jingni 2 Wei, Yumen County in this home.
In 1915, Lincheng district was established.
In 1929, it was the first district (now Yumen Town, huangzhawan Township and xiaxihao township), with 12 villages under its jurisdiction.
In 1943, it was established in Jinchang town and governed by eight guarantors.
In 1949, Jinchang district was set up, with five townships of Dongqu, Zhongqu, Nanmen, Beimen and Hexi under its jurisdiction, and three streets of Jiefang, Desheng and Heping.
In 1955, the township was withdrawn and the district was merged into Chengguan Town, Chengjiao Township and Dongqu township.
In July 1956, Dongqu township was merged into suburban township.
In September 1958, Chengjiao, xiadonghao and xihonghao townships jointly set up Hongxing commune; in November of the same year, Yumen county was merged into Yumen City and moved to Laojunmiao, where Yumen town commune suburban management area was set up, with jurisdiction over quanzi, Zhongqu, Dongqu, Nanmen, Beimen, Hexi 6 production teams and Yumen 1 town.
In 1961, Yumen town commune was established in suburban management area.
In 1980, it was renamed Yumen town.
In March 1983, the commune was abolished, Yumen town and Yumen Township were established, and urban and rural areas were divided.
In June 1985, Yumen town was abolished and merged into Yumen town.
