Chenping street, belonging to Xigu District, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, is adjacent to Qilihe district in the East, Yongjing County in the south, xigucheng street in the West and the Yellow River in the north. Its total area is 27.6 square kilometers. In 2011, its total population was 40231.
In 1953, Chen Guanying was changed into the Fifth District and the sixth township. In 1957, Chen Guanying street was changed. In August 1958, Chen's official battalion was changed to Xigu commune. In 1962, Chenping commune was established by Chen Guanying brigade, and the ring road management area was changed into ring road street. In 1982, Chenping commune was removed and Chenping township was changed. In 1987, Huanxing street was renamed Chenguanying street. In October 2004, Chenping Township and Chenguanying Street merged to form Chenping street. In June 2020, Chenping Street governs 10 communities and 2 administrative villages.
In 2011, Chenping street industry initially formed an industrial system mainly composed of petrochemical industry, building materials, plastic products and metal products processing. There were 5 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size with 650 employees, realizing an industrial added value of 2.56 billion yuan, an increase of 14.6% over the previous year.
