Xize Township
Xize township is located in the southeast of Yanting County, 43 kilometers away from Yanting County, close to Minglong town and shuangluo township of Xichong County, with an average altitude of more than 400 meters, belonging to shallow hill landform. It has jurisdiction over 18 administrative villages, 2 communities, 185 villager groups and 60 villager groups. The total population of the township is 13200 (2017). It covers an area of 44.37 square kilometers.
In December 2019, Mianyang Municipal People's government decided to abolish Xize township.
Basic information
Yanting County governs the township. Xize township was established in 1951, changed to commune in 1958, and restored to township in 1984. Located in the southeast of the county, 30 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 44.37 square kilometers and has a population of 13200 (2017). There are roads to the county. Evolution of organizational system
According to Yanting County annals, Xize and Anfu were under the jurisdiction of Leping Township in Yanting County in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. Around the 28th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, anfuoxingchang was named because song Jinshi, Ren Bochuan, gave up his house as an nunnery, and the Qing county magistrate inscribed a plaque with "an is Buddha". During the reign of Tongzhi and Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty, xizexingchang was named as xicaiya because the well under the field was often used for people to wash vegetables in ancient times. In the 25th year of the Republic of China, Anfu Lianbao was set up, which governed anfuchang, xizeya, huizhenchang and other towns. in the 29th year of the Republic of China, the "new county system" was adopted, and the joint protection of an and fo was abolished and merged into Jinkong Township and Bajiao township. In the 1950s, the land reform was completed and democratic government was established. In 1951, Xize township was newly built, and in 1952, Anfu township was newly built. In 1958, during the period of people's communization, Xize and Anfu communes were established. In 1984, the establishment of the commune was abolished and the commune was restored to Xize Township and Anfu Township, belonging to Jinkong district. In 1992, Xize township was established by merging Xize and Anfu. in 2019, Xize township will be abolished and merged into Jinkong town.
Economic situation
In 2001, the total industrial and agricultural output value of the township was 47.5 million yuan (including 45 million yuan of agricultural output value and 2.5 million yuan of rural enterprise output value), the per capita net income was 1686 yuan, and the annual fiscal revenue was 1.4 million yuan. the township vigorously promotes the structural adjustment of agricultural industrialization centered on sericulture industrialization, comprehensively implements sericulture industrialization, and strives to become the first sericulture Township in Western China. The township planted 12000 mu of mulberry, and signed a sericulture industrialization contract with Sichuan Silk Import and export company, promoting one-step garden, small silkworm co breeding, labor-saving silkworm platform and cardboard grid cluster, purchasing cocoons at the protection price, ensuring not to give white slips to sericulture farmers; adhering to the path of "order agriculture" and "company + farmers", employing 20 sericulture technical backbones throughout the year, and implementing science and technology contracting . A total of 110 small silkworm breeding rooms have been built, 2001 sets of labor-saving silkworm rearing platforms have been promoted, 170000 pieces of cardboard checkerboard clusters have been produced, 6600 silkworm eggs have been produced, 3100 cocoons have been produced, 25kg cocoons have been produced per sheet, the cocoon income is 4 million yuan, and the per capita income is increased by 250 yuan.
