Xize Township

Xize township is located in the southeast of Yanting County, 43 kilometers away from Yanting County, close to Minglong town and shuangluo township of Xichong County, with an average altitude of more than 400 meters, belonging to shallow hill landform. Yanting County governs the township. Xize township was established in 1951, changed to commune in 1958, and restored to township in 1984. Evolution of organizational system

According to Yanting County annals, Xize and Anfu were under the jurisdiction of Leping Township in Yanting County in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. In the 1950s, the land reform was completed and democratic government was established. In 1951, Xize township was newly built, and in 1952, Anfu township was newly built. In 1958, during the period of people's communization, Xize and Anfu communes were established. In 1984, the establishment of the commune was abolished and the commune was restored to Xize Township and Anfu Township, belonging to Jinkong district. In 1992, Xize township was established by merging Xize and Anfu. in 2019, Xize township will be abolished and merged into Jinkong town.

Economic situation
