Chief temple town

Gongguanmiao town is subordinate to Wuqi County, Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the southwest of Wuqi County, bordering Baibao town in the southeast, Huachi County in Gansu Province in the southwest, Miaogou Township in the north and Wuqi street in the northeast. The maximum distance between East and West is 21 kilometers, and the maximum distance between North and south is 30 kilometers, with a total area of 244.7 square kilometers.

In 2011, the total financial revenue of gongguanmiao town was 5.38 million yuan, the total agricultural output value was 39.45 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 6282 yuan.

Historical evolution

It is said that a local official was diligent and loved the people. After his death, the people built a temple here to commemorate his death, so it was called the chief officer's temple.

In 1942, the flooded area of Huachi County in Gansu Province was divided into three districts (flooded area) and two townships of Wuqi County.

In 1958, it merged with dudacha Township and established the chief executive Temple commune.

In 1984, the township was set up.

In August 2009, it was changed into a town.
