Xigu town

Xigu town belongs to Baishui County, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province. It is located in the southeast of the county, facing yaotou town of Chengcheng County in the East, Luobin Town, Shangwang town and Hanjing town of Pucheng County in the south, Fenglei town in the West and Leiya Township in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 9 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 19.5 kilometers, with a total area of 113.47 square kilometers.

As of June 2020, it has jurisdiction over 1 community and 16 administrative villages. As of 2018, Xigu town had a population of 37204 registered residence. Historical evolution

In the first year of xuanwang of the Western Zhou Dynasty (827 BC), the two younger sisters of Yihou of Hanshan married in the East and the west, called Xigu and Donggu. In 1671, Xigu was renamed Xigu.

In the 19th year of Qianlong (1754), it was under the jurisdiction of shengnvli, wenhuali and shijunli in Huibin township.

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to the Second District of Fenglei district government office, the Ninth District of Longshan joint insurance, and the Second District of Township insurance system.

In March 1948, it was divided into two districts.
