Long Huaixiang

Longhuai Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Lipu City, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Lipu City, adjacent to Dumo town in the East, xiuren town in the west, Xinxu town of Mengshan County in the South and Qingshan town in the north, with an administrative area of 81 square kilometers.

Before liberation, it belonged to zhenxixiang. On February 21, 2004, it was renamed longhuaixiang. By the end of 2018, the total population of Longhuai township is 10848, including 9897 agricultural population, mainly inhabiting Han, Yao, Zhuang, Miao, Dong and other ethnic groups. By the end of 2019, Longhuai township has one community and four administrative villages, and the township government is located at No. 8, Sanhe street, Xin'an community.

In 2018, longhuaixiang completed a total agricultural output value of 281 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8%; a total industrial output value of 38954 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.5%; a total industrial output value of 700.8 million yuan, and a fixed industrial investment of 53.92 million yuan. 8.2677 million yuan for industrial enterprises, 44500 yuan for slaughter taxes, and 3 industrial enterprises were introduced.

History of construction

Before liberation, it belonged to zhenxixiang.

After liberation, it became Sanhe township of the Second District in 1951.

In 1953, it was divided into Sanhe, Qingyun and Xin'an townships, still belonging to the second district.

In 1955, the second district was renamed Qingshan District, belonging to Qingshan District.

In 1957, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged into Sanhe and Xin'an.

In 1958, it became Sanhe commune.

In 1962, Qingshan District was returned to Sanhe, Qingyun and Xin'an.

In 1968, Sanhe commune was separated from Qingshan.

In 1984, it was changed into Sanhe township.

In 1995, the village office was renamed the villagers' committee.

On February 21, 2004, it was renamed longhuaixiang.

By the end of 2005, longhuaixiang had one junior middle school, five complete primary schools, three teaching sites and three kindergartens. In September 2005, longhuaixiang junior middle school was merged into Qingshan junior middle school, ending the teaching history of the township junior middle school. Xin'an primary school (Township Central Primary School) was relocated to the former longhuaixiang junior middle school.
