Runzhen
Run Town, subordinate to Chunhua County, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the middle of Chunhua County. It is adjacent to Chengguan Street in the East, chewu town in the south, Majia town in the West and Bujia town in the north. The total area is 95.90 square kilometers.
As of June 2020, runzhen has 15 administrative villages. As of 2018, the registered residence of the town was 25479. In 2011, the total agricultural output value of runzhen reached 94 million yuan, the total industrial output value reached 340 million yuan, and the total social commodity sales reached 6911 yuan.
Historical evolution
Therefore, the land is fertile and humid, and the town is named Tongrun Town, later referred to as run town.
In 1958, when it was established, it was named Hongqi commune, which governs today's runzhen, Bujia and chewu. In the same year, after Chunhua was incorporated into Sanyuan County, it belonged to the management area of runzhen town of Chunhua commune.
In 1961, Chunhua County system was restored and runzhen commune was established.
In 1984, it was changed into runzhen township.
In 1997, runzhen township was changed into runzhen township.
